Support, FAQs, and how prediction leagues work
Predict the scores. Battle your friends. Climb the leaderboard. Forecast Frenzy turns every game into a showdown - nail the exact score for max points, use wildcards to double down on your best picks, and go head-to-head each week. Whether it's the NFL or the Premier League, the Six Nations or the Ryder Cup, one prediction can change everything.
Forecast Frenzy is a prediction league platform: you join competitions, predict scores (and sometimes stat bonuses or outrights), and compete on points and head-to-head results. From Home, tap Join a competition or accept a league invite. Open Picks each gameweek, enter your scores before the lock deadline, and check Standings once results are in.
Where to find these rules anytime: this page (How to Frenzy in the footer), the Scoring System popup on your picks page, and the welcome card on Home when you're new.
From the home page, you can join a competition in one click. When you join, you're added to that competition's Global League (your canonical competition entry). If your country has a country league, your same picks also power that Country League view. You can then join or create private leagues (invite/code based) to compete with friends inside the same competition. You can be in multiple leagues at once, and each league has its own standings and (if enabled) head-to-head matchups.
Each gameweek has a list of games. For each game you enter your predicted score (e.g. Home 24 – Away 17). You don't pick "winner" or "margin" separately - the app works out all bonuses from your predicted scores. Some competitions also have stat questions (e.g. "How many passing yards will Player X have?") and outrights (e.g. tournament winner) that you answer once before the competition or season starts. You can change your predictions anytime before the lock time (usually the first game of the week); after that, they're locked and visible to everyone in the league.
Below are example UI snippets (not interactive) so you can see how score entry, stat bonus, and outright entry look.
Enter your predicted score for each team. Overtime (or Extra Time) is included.
Statistics are collated across an entire gameweek, but can be isolated to a specific fixture.
Set before the competition starts; answers locked in when the first gameweek begins.
Every game: correct winner = 5 pts. Then one bonus (highest you get):
| Bonus | Condition | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Correct team points | Either team's score exactly right | 10 |
| Correct total points | Correct combined score | 20 |
| Correct margin | Correct score difference | 20 |
| Exact score | Both team scores exactly right | 75 |
Bonuses don't stack - only the single highest applies, plus winner points. A game wildcard doubles all points from that game.

Each stat question is worth 25 points. How "correct" is decided depends on the question type (exact match, within a tolerance, or closest wins). Your league may have a fixed number per week (e.g. 5 in regular season, 10 in playoffs). A stat wildcard (when available) doubles the points for one stat category.
Outright questions (e.g. "Who wins the league?") are usually set before the competition starts and lock when it begins. Points per question are set by the league/competition (often 50 points per correct answer).
A wildcard is a power-up you attach to one pick before lock. It doubles the points you earn from that pick (game, stat bonus, or head-to-head result — depending on the type). You choose which pick gets it; you can change your mind until the gameweek locks.
| Wildcard type | How often you get one | What it doubles |
|---|---|---|
| Game | One per gameweek (each round/week) | All game points from that fixture |
| Stat | One per eligible week (only when the competition enables it — often NFL playoffs) | Points from one stat bonus question |
| Head-to-head (H2H) | Limited for the whole season (typically 1–3 total; your league admin sets the count) | Your H2H win/tie points for that week (25 → 50 on a win with wildcard) |
Game and stat wildcards reset each week. H2H wildcards do not — when you've used your seasonal allowance, you won't get another until next season.
If a button is greyed out, the week may be locked, you may have already used that wildcard type, or your league may have H2H wildcards turned off.
Wildcards are applied before lock. These preview controls are interactive so you can test the wildcard animation anytime.
One per week. Apply to a single game to double all points from that game.
In some competitions (e.g. playoffs). Doubles points for one stat question.
1–3 uses for the whole season (not per week). Doubles your H2H points that week.

If your league has head-to-head (H2H) enabled, each week you're matched against one other player. Your total points for that week (game points, stat points, wildcards - not including H2H bonus yet) are compared: the higher score wins the matchup. A win gives you 25 points added to your total; a tie gives both players 15 points. If you use an H2H wildcard that week, those H2H points are doubled. Matchups are set in a round-robin style so over the season you play everyone. H2H points count towards your overall league total and appear in the standings.
Example H2H matchup (NFL):
Example: Alex won the week. Sam used their H2H wildcard so their H2H points would have been doubled if they'd won.
The main league table is ordered by total cumulative points (all gameweeks combined). You can see a breakdown of where your points came from (winner, exact, margin, team, stat, wildcard, H2H, outright). The Standings page shows all your leagues and, for each, overall standings and (if H2H is on) head-to-head records. Standings update automatically after results are in and scores are calculated.

It doubles the points from the pick you attach it to. Game wildcards double that game's scoring; stat wildcards double one stat bonus; H2H wildcards double your head-to-head result points for that week. See Wildcards — quick answers for how often you get each type.
Game and stat wildcards: one per gameweek (each round/week), when that week is open. H2H wildcards: a fixed number for the entire season (usually 1–3), not one per week. Your league's H2H settings show how many you have left.
Right here on How to Frenzy (footer link on every page). On Picks, open the Scoring System info for point values. New accounts also see a Welcome card on Home until they dismiss it — the footer link is always there.
Predictions lock at the lock time for that gameweek - usually the start time of the first game of the week. After that you can't edit; everyone in the league can see each other's picks. The app uses your local time for the lock.
Yes, if the league allows it. You'll start with 0 points for weeks already played; you can still make predictions for future gameweeks. Some leagues are "full" or locked by the owner and won't accept new members.
If the actual result is a tie and you predicted a tie, you get 5 points for the correct "winner" (there was no winner, so your tie prediction counts as correct). You also get correct margin (20 pts) by default, since the margin is 0. If you predicted the exact tie score, you get the exact bonus (75 pts) as well. If you predicted a different result (home or away win), no correct winner points are awarded.
Your profile and login are removed and your name is replaced with "Deleted Account". Your predictions and league history are kept so that head-to-head results and standings stay valid for other members. Leagues you created stay if other members are in them. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
